Country rock band Swamp da Wamp is proud to announce the addition of drummer Mark Hill.  After a long and arduous search, it was a no-brainer when Hill stopped in to jam with the band.  Hill was the best fit and had the best groove with the current band members.  Inviting him in was as the title cut of Swamp da Wamp's new CD says "That Easy.”    

 Mark Hill was born and remains a Charlotte, North Carolina native.  Hill started playing piano at the young age of 4 years old.  He was taught by his grandmother who was an accomplished teacher in the Charlotte area. Hill became interested in the drums and drumming when he was only 7 years old.  He played his first live show when he was 10 years of age.

This natural drummer had his first recording session at the tender age of 11 and formed his first band when he was only 13 years old. He performed locally with his band until he graduated high school.  He went out on the road as a touring musician shortly thereafter. 

Hill is not just a drummer, he is a proficient and talented producer and singer/songwriter.  He is also proficient on the piano, guitar and bass.  He could be a one man band if there were 4 of him. 

Through the years Hill has been the founder of several very successful regional bands and has played on countless recordings. Hill has won awards such as ‘Rock Band of the Year and Best New Rock Band of the Year,’ regional awards. 

Hill is a passionate player, a hard hitting rock drummer with strong vocal abilities. Hill loves being an entertainer and truly knows the worth of the fans and treats them with kindness and respect.  Hills favorite saying when out gigging and having a good time is:  "It’s all about the fans!"

When Hill is not playing music he is riding motorcycles, driving or checking out hot rods, watching sports and hanging out in the great outdoors.  Hill also owns a grading business but his first love is music.  Hill’s passion for music shines with every beat, and he loves driving a good band with solid tasteful drumming.

Hill now joins the Swamp da Wamp band who has shared billing with rock legends like Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, Foreigner, Paul Rogers, Blue Oyster Cult, Shooter Jennings, The Outlaws, and The Marshall Tucker Band and country greats like Craig Morgan, Toby Keith, Craig Wayne Boyd and countless others.  

Swamp da Wamp has performed on five music-themed cruises, including all three of the world famous Rock Legends Cruises.  They’ve won the prestigious title “Best Rock Band 2013” at the famed Carolina Music Awards.

Jenna Longmire re-releases her long awaited debut album Resistance after overcoming the adversity and grief that stood in her way. 

Some artists go into the studio and record an album and release it shortly after it is pressed and delivered.  That was the plan for Resistance but you know what they say about best laid plans.  As fate would have it this was not to be as shortly after Longmire’s CD was released she was in a near fatal car crash that left her injured and hospitalized. 

Longmire ended up spending weeks in the hospital and months of healing and rehabilitation followed.  Just as she was getting her footing, her beloved father passed away.  His death was devastating to her and put her plans on hold again as she reeled from that loss.    

Her father was her biggest fan and she knows in her heart and soul that he would want her to go forward with the CD release and she wants to fulfill his wishes and make him proud.  The official re-release of Jenna Longmire’s CD Resistance is November 15th, 2015.

Resistance is a collection of sophisticated songs delivered by layered heartfelt lyrics and vocals by this Americana Pop Artist.  Resistance has 12 tracks that are not stopped and started by time constraints.  Each song has a life of its own and paints a picture clearly and distinctly like watching a motion picture set to music.  This is a beautiful, poignant debut album by Jenna Longmire and just the beginning of great things to come.

Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves set to release fairy tale music video for ‘Ramblin.’

It is official, the final edits are done and Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves are getting all set to release the phenomenal ‘Ramblin’ music video featuring many special guests such as:

The music video was shot over the period of several days with many amazing people helping to make it a fun musical masterpiece.  Shot at various locations in Tennessee, this music video takes you on a journey through several favorite childhood stories we all enjoyed as children.

Lots of talented folks contributed to the making of this video from costume designers to video technicians. The video features AMTW rocking custom clothing designed and provided by Elydjah Design of Paris, France and Bootights, USA.

The ‘Ramblin,’ music video will premiere this month on GAC, Heartland, The Phil Mack International Country Show on Sky TV and ZUUS networks.

Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves chose William Wiltshire for his camera work.  Other notable artists he has worked with are Alan Jackson and the B52’s.

Little River Band named Entertainer of the Year at the 2015 Casino Entertainment Awards

The Little River Band has been named Artist of the Year at the annual 2015 Casino Entertainment awards. During the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) held on September 30, 2015, Little River Band took home the top honors of Artist of the Year.  The award ceremony took place at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Wayne Nelson of Little River Band who sings lead and is the band leader was on hand to accept this prestigious award as seen pictured. The band is currently touring the US celebrating its 40th Anniversary to sold out crowds performing over 100 shows a year.

Wayne Nelson is lead singer on 2 of the bands all time top 5 hits with ‘Night Owl’ and ‘Take it Easy on Me,’ and has been a member of the band for 35 years.

Rickey Medlocke reunites with Blackfoot as special guest for limited select dates.  

It has been more than 20 years since Rickey Medlocke has been on stage performing with Blackfoot but that is about to change with the announcement that Medlocke will be performing with the band for several incredible shows this coming November, 2015. 

Medlocke is best known for his forming of the band Blackfoot early in his musical career starting in the 1970’s and lasting until the early 1990’s selling more than 5 million records.  In 1996 he started performing with Lynyrd Skynyrd and has been doing that for nearly 20 years.  Medlocke has done some special guest appearance shows with Blackberry Smoke and Shooter Jennings.  More recently he has appeared on American Idol playing lead guitar to “Sweet Home Alabama” for finalist Bo Bice.  The upcoming shows with Blackfoot are as special guest as he remains a full time member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.   

Blackfoot is getting ready to release a new CD with many of the tracks being co-written and produced by Medlocke. 

At the time of this press release, the special guest event shows scheduled are:

·      November 19, 2015 at the Blue Ocean Music Hall, Salisbury, MA.
·      November 20, 2015 at the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, New York.

After 18 long months, the country rock group Swamp da Wamp has released this heart pounding, toe tapping CD they are calling, ‘That Easy.’   This album was produced by the multi-Grammy award winning Glen Tabor at the world class Gat3 Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

This band clearly appeals to a broad demographic as they’re part rock, part country with a dash of the blues.  They have shared billing with rock legends like Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, Foreigner, Paul Rogers, Blue Oyster Cult, Shooter Jennings, The Outlaws, and The Marshall Tucker Band and country greats like Craig Morgan, Toby Keith, Craig Wayne Boyd and countless others.  

Swamp da Wamp is the brain child of lead singer Gig Michaels.  Michaels is the main songwriter and founder of this seven member band.  When Swamp da Wamp is playing, you know there is a party going on.  The stage presence of Gig Michaels is as much a part of the act as are his unabashedly deep, sexy, gritty vocals.  Swamp da Wamp has been performing together since 2006 and they have really honed their craft.  Michaels stands 6 feet, 5 inches tall without his boots and between his height and his incredibly deep commanding voice, he gets and keeps the undivided attention of his audience. 

Because of the bands popularity and fan demands, one CD release party just wouldn’t do.  There are two CD release parties scheduled.  One is for Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. at the River City Bar and Grill, 155 Pinnacle Lane, Mooresville, North Carolina. Kenny Olson of 'Kid Rock' fame will be playing lead for them and Renea’ Truex  who played fiddle and mandolin for 'Cowboy Crush' has also been adding some great sounds to the band this summer.  The band is currently on a local radio station tour promoting their brand new single, 'Ramblin.'
