About BILLY LEE:
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Billy kicked off his music career in a rock band. After leaving the band, Billy signed a major label development deal touring and opening for Rick Springfield, Duran Duran, Buddy Miles and Rick Danko. You can hear Billy's vocals on the Carnival Cruises, Crown Beer, Newmark and Lewis, CBS and Pizza Hut commercials. Billy Lee got his first publishing deal in 1996 with Major Key Music. He relocated to Music City in 2010. He has written with Chris Dubois (Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Trace Adkins) Henry Paul (Blackhawk –The Outlaws, Rand Bishop (Toby Keith, Beach Boys, Cheap Trick), Jane Bach (Reba Tammy Wynette, Jo Dee Messina), Phil Barton (Lee Brice – Sarah Evans), Brian White (Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins etc), Charles Esten (TV show Nashville) and Thomas Rhett just to name a few. Billy’s song “The One,” garnered him the ASCAP CMA Award for the “Most Play Song of the Year,” performed by Gary Allan.
