I have realized that keeping this blog is making me accountable. It is making me accountable for what I do daily, what I chose to put in my mouth (calories that is) and how much movement/exercise I want to get today. I am going to continue to do this daily blog to make myself accountable. It was dinner time when I realized I hadn't taken my walk so I left the house to walk. I am still not able to do the whole walk I want to do. I get winded and my legs ache. When you are driving in a car, you don't notice the slight uphill areas but when you are walking them you sure do know they are there. I think the first thing that is going to get back into shape here are my legs.
I have some good news to share. Last week I purchased two new pair of pretty leggings from Kohls. I chose a large size thinking that because they were leggings they would be cut small so I need a large size. Well they are too big and have to go back so that makes me happy that I don't need that big a size but now I will have to drive to Murfreesboro to exchange them.
I also bought myself a new dress. I don't remember the last time I bought a new dress but I bought it because well I simply deserve a new dress and it gives me motivation to keep on going. The dress is probably a size smaller than what I am now so while I can fit in it, I will have to work out some to make me not only fit in it but look great in it.
Again another motivator. I also noticed that Map My Run has a daily caloric counter in it. Very cool, so you can put in what you ate today and it tells you approximately how many calories you took in. That tool will surely hold me accountable. I did check and they do have SOUR PATCH KIDS listed in there and it gives you options of how many of those candies for how many calories. Like eating 9 South Patch Candies is 150 calories. That might be my cheat of the day. I am totally hooked on those little suckers and don't know if I can give them up just yet.
